You’re in a network marketing company, ya love it, you are building and perhaps you have or are considering a home based business blog. Blogging can be a fun and leveraged way to get the word out and deliver your message to the masses.
There is a catch though, it’s a lot more fun when leads are rolling in yet that doesn’t happen overnight.
I know, big let down lol.
My goal on this post is to share some secrets I’ve learned along the way to have your network marketing blog be successful.
Step 1: Creating Your Network Marketing Blog
You have a business blog that you are totally excited about and now you need people to see it, right? You are not alone.
I was on a coaching call earlier this week and we were discussing just this topic.
My friend kicked off a blog for their direct sales business and now they’re wondering, how to bring more folks to their network marketing blog?
The first thing you have to do is learn how to utilize the internet to bring your site traffic. One of the best ways to do this is use your keywords and do your homework.
It’s super important you know your target market (also called your avatar), this is who you are writing for. Here’s a post I did on why identify a target avatar.
So now you know the keywords people are using to search for your topic or market. Use these keywords to create content for your network marketing blog that will optimize internet search engines and bring your site traffic.
Now that you have your blog, what are you going to write about to get more leads?
Write about what you know, what you’ve learned, a book you’re reading, a webinar you were on, etc… Basically what I’m saying is invest in yourself, learn a new topic or strategy and then teach it back out. Boom, network marketing blog topics all day long! ????
As I worked to develop my own network marketing blog, I discovered that sharing what you know is the best way to bring people to your site. And they start to dig you!
BONUS TIP: Having a blog is awesome but you might as well stop right now if you aren’t going to be consistent. Consistent content over time is what attracts leads and fills your pipeline.
Step 3: Drive Traffic to Your Awesome Internet Marketing Blog
Want more people to visit your blog? Well, the fastest way to gain exposure to your site is through advertising.
People all over the world use social media on a daily basis. You should be linking your posts to Facebook, Linkedin, Google +, and Twitter. And this is free!
If you really want to get things moving fast, you can purchase social media ads. These ads brought my network marketing blog crazy traffic. Over time there were more people viewing, more people reading and more people who became leads.
I also recommend pay-per-click ads (PPC) on search engine platforms such as Yahoo and Bing. This a solid way to generate leads and get traffic.
There ya have it. Network Marketing blogging is all about strategy and consistent content. With some research, planning and consistent posts you’ll be off and running.
